Maya Yovcheva is a R&D Scientist in Cell Biology at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Frederick, Maryland. Maya focuses on the development of novel tools for protein and viral vector expression in insect cells. She has a strong background in cell culture, molecular biology, and protein expression. Maya has obtained a BSc in Molecular Biology from Sofia University, St. Kliment Ohridski, Bulgaria and an MSc in Medical Biotechnologies from Wageningen University, The Netherlands.
